Dear All

Just a thought on a bored Friday evening: Gumbo was based on a pretty basic timer based stable IRQ system. I have since then optimized this to work flawlessly on both PAL and NTSC (and all variants, inclusive the odd-ball PAL65). I was considering making a PAL/NTSC version of Gumbo to test this out, but I wonder if it would be worth the effort. (Also, since the music needs some consideration, as far as I know most NTSC systems will have a 6581 SID, and the tempo will also need some work).

Any comments to this, on a February 2021 COVID lock-down Friday?

I just realized, that I never wrote anywhere, that the demo is supposed to run on a machine with the new SID (8580). Well, now you all know =)

Happy New Year all!

I would advice to let the demo run for a few minutes in order to see the new stuff - please see the production notes for a full description of how the revision differs from the original.
So, 2019 marked my return to the scene, and it's good to be back. I already have new stuff cooking for 2020 =)

Cheers
