Also: the Furby animation is synchronised with the sound. Vibrato (up/down), attack decay, and sustain values are used to calculate the apropriate animation.

This would not have been possible without all the excellent tools we now have at our disposal:
Sid Wizard (for composing, ahem) and for the actual vibrato code.
Char Pad and Sprite Pad (the furbies are composed of sprites with character overlay, but are designed as multi color sprites with single color sprite overlay.
I used Relaunch with Kick Assembler where a script imports and converts the sprite binary to sprites and characters.
The C64 Debugger was used for finding the countless bugs.
