Started after compo was announced when Mucky appeared on chat with that great Petscii logo. Then came the waves, bubbles and only music and scroll remained to be done. Experimented with some short sids by Ninja and planed on some additional fld trickery, tested vertical sine wave changes for scroll position and figured I could maybe add sprites on bottom of logo, so I could make text scroll pixel by pixel instead of this coarse char based movement.
But then on Friday 27. December just before final push over that last weekend in the year, I woke up blind on my right eye...
Bursted capillaries in the back of eye... Vision 0% on friday... Next few days 20, 30, 50 %... After rest and medications week later I could drive a car, but reading text with right eye was still impossible. So I looked at asm code with one eye and managed to push it to finish as you see it now :)

Morale of the story - code demos while you can, you never know what will tomorrow bring :)

ps. Vision already better, in couple months and after some laser surgery it should go to text reading capacity...

Cheers!
Vladimir
