It actually works for me, when asked for registering just press N, then all parts react on space presses.
By 2nd file do you mean "NOTE PARTYDEMO !" or the actually unclosed 2nd file "FJ OF RCS 2100!!" ?

I ran it both with and without cart on Vice, but second file doesn't load. Mind uploading a file that does work?
