This is for those, like myself, who are
fortunate enough to have obtained the
wonderful ARTIST 64 graphics program
(from Wigmore House in England). It is
a truely remarkable and powerful m/c
paint program. I've written a converter
that will allow its files to benefit
from all of the Koalapainter file
support (printouts, other converters,
compressors, etc.) as well as enabling
Koala files (or others converted to)
to benefit from ARTIST's unique
capabilities. It supports 2 drives (as
Source and Target), includes a Fast
Loader (which can be REM'd if problems
arise), auto-renaming and, of course,
single drive (swapping or same disk).
It has been thoroughly tested and works
with 1541, 1571 and Indus (others
untested). It may or may not require
that fastloading cartridges be disabled
(works with Super Snapshot, fastload
active, fastsave DISABLED!, line #315
REM'd). Hope you find it useful.
