Of course it's black background intended, DD very probably used an eprom which changed screen and border colours to black.

Always found the title pic looked good but somehow a little wrong in the 80s.

As this happens if you type

in the monitor

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be black background otherwise the blue around martech Logo doesn't make sense.

Don't know if the tape version from C64games.de is truely an original tape image, but it looks like that (black as screen and border color).

Strangely, blue background also in The Electronic Duo version, so one of the two (probably the latter) might be a re-crack?
