Love the composition and especially the tail on triangles, just superb. What is ruining the experience for me is the oldshool snare sound. I supposed to write it's "z dupy" but was told it's not allowed.

Now that I can (hopefully) review, as I was one of the jurors: My absolute favorite of the compo.

Less time to be on csdb but don't want to miss this.
Already from the pre-hear I told you I especially like this one a lot!
Some wowzers craftmanship on the instruments goes along with this piece of art. TOTO spirit all in here. @Digger: Unfortunately there are no tricks or cheap rips to make these tunes. (Oh yeah if you copycat 1000x times, one will be a one hit kinda wonder, someday sure:D) but in most cases you have to really feel this by heart to get this right...
More Grolsch for Shogoon!

Arrgh. I don't know what to think about that chinese melody style intro. But what happens then is really awesome! :-)

Nice screen! What is that lonely bar on the right? ;-)

Abrupt fade-out is not soo nice though---

beside the fact i identify some Drax'ish/Laxity influence in the melody (which is great of course) , this tune is pretty amazing ! thanks for doing it :)

Kal_123, I'm not surprised :P All was made in a rush. Also goattracker compiler couldn't handle my sudden tempo changes - there were some cool rhythmic parts which i had to simplyfy. Thanks for feedback guys!

Good track, thumbs up. By the way, when transforming the SID with PSID64 (which i did, cause i like having a fast-forward function) the name differs. There it's called "Trip to China" then.

@Jammer: the trick (I’ve learned a few days ago) is never play the root chord note in the chord, always use bass to color/change the chord.
And Shogoon just does it brilliantly, these “chords” are just fourths/fifths as I can see... Same does Laxity I think.

I have no idea how you're creating so rich harmonies with so minimal approach (there are no regular chords here, WTF :D) but I surely know Laxity is strong with this one <3

Even though Vibrants are truly missing in this compo, your tune did make up for it. Lovely!
