I thought this song was inspired by avid golfing with someone's head as the ball and therefore the music being jazzy / relatively happy was a surprise :)

Melodically it is a bit too modern-jazzy-complex and maybe even a tad chaotic for me. I'm a simplez man and I need my simplez four chords and three note melodies. :) But matters of taste, of course. One cannot deny the awesomeness of the sound engineering, very hard to believe this is mere 0.5x! The overall balance is just right too, I just wish the main lead melody (and arps too in a couple of places) were a little bit less challenging as they steal the focus from everything amazing that happens behind them.

That echoed arp stab is brilliant!

Not bad. Reminds me on the game "Paradroid", because of some used tones.
