Now that's a rough noise inferno. Essentially experimental synth drone and avant-garde noise music.

Well, I hope you keep up the really cool work for more tunes with less restrictions. You really got me with the electronic music!

Ha, just realized that there was no restriction on the actual waveform type in the compo to saw and triangle.
...so many more options now to contemplate •̀ᴗ•́

the vote distribution shows very controverse, yet also very symmetrical opinions. and it even reminds me about the B52's Ricky Wilson's guitar string usage (2 upper, 2 lower strings, nothing in between)

Creative and underrated.

Wow! For sure the most experimental thing I've heard for a long time. Cool industrial electric currency running through space!

As industrial as you can get! :D Even if I value your loops higher, it definitely dares where others don't - especially it's merely 1ch :)

well, let me say it this way: i'm impressed that it's possible to get such sounds out of the SID, i could even imagine something like this as a background "sound landscape" for a game, see "shadow skimmer" (not switcher!), which features a simple drone sound. also, the compo didn't state that the result has to be a musical tune. my personal interpretation is a guy plugging in his electric guitar and tuning it, turning knobs on the amp, playing around, altering his effect pedal settings... i think given the right context, whether in a game or a demo, this could be actually useful. as a standalone piece, i can see why people would find it unpleasing to the ears, though :D

having said that, i don't really know what to vote...

3/10. This entry sounds like it's trying to emulate an electric guitar, but the result is about the same as a beeper tune. Not very pleasant sound mixing, and very grating on the ears.

I was like, did I leave emu running on warp accidentally? :-| A bit noisy experiment,
