What ist that ?
---------------
Do you have many floppy disks that you want to archive in D64 format with the XUM1541 adapter?
Then the d64_masscopier.sh script is just the right choice for you.
The script does the job fully automatically.

The script provides the following features:
* manually specify the device number, destination folder, file name prefix, and disk counter start number
* automatic copying with side A/B file name naming for C64 floppy disks
* automatic detection of datas in extra tracks (36-41) - can be switched off via parameter
* automatic disk change detection
* manual adjustment of many parameters in the well-documented script header
* simply interrupt and continue the copy session later by specifying a different StartDiskCounter

Minimum requirements:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* a 5.25 inch floppy drive (a 1541 or better a 1571)
* a XU1541 or an XUM1541 adapter - IEC to USB (u can get it i.e. on ebay)
* a Linux OS with XUM1541 driver installed
* installed software: opencbm, nibtools
* adjust the TERMINAL="/usr/bin/xfce4-terminal" - parameter to the terminal you are using

Using the script:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
./d64_masscopier.sh [devicenumber] [destinationdir] [destination-file-prefix] [startnumber-diskcounter]
Parameter 1 : Device number (8|9|10|11)
Parameter 2 : Destination directory where all D64 files will stored (generated if does not exist)
Parameter 3 : Prefix of the file name
Parameter 4 : Start number of the disk counter
