I played this to the end. Love the audiovisual style and the gameplay has something promising, even if I find the game still very "empty" - yes, I know: preview...
But I think when completed this could have been a very cool one... :(

BTW: I still like the first one very much.

Guys, I need to drop a comment here: I was amazed by this one! It feels like a quantum leap over the first version and the art design really, really shines on a CRT. Wow. At first I didn't quite get what to do (rtfm, I know), but when I did, I loved it! This is – for me at least – truly a special experience on the breadbin and it's a pity that it won't be finished. Well, if time's an issue, I at least hope that you guys consider coming back to this one when you can. But for what it is, it was still a very sweet experience for me. So in any case: Thank you very much! Cheers!

@TheRyk: We planned for 512k cartridge for the final, however I need to point out to everyone that this game WILL NOT be finished and released i.e. it got canceled (mostly because of lack of free time for developers).

Very promising!

Knight Rider's got a point, however. Does it really HAVE to fit into 512K or ain't EasyFlash (1MB) a better option?

Ingame tune is around a bit over >4 kb only. The music was also composed PAL/NTSC compilant way, and 6581/8580 sound patch, which really took me time. (If something changed...) also tested for different 4 sid revisions (real and emulated). Which honestly took months for this small piece and all editor limitations :D

I agree i'd have the game a complete tune change in final version (unless you'd like 3rd/4th remix..) :D

Theres +3 more tunes (+ several incomplete versions) already for the complete game. The intro remains..

Tnx for feedback :)

@iAN CooG: Well this is the finalized tune planned for release, Moonspire.sid aka Amalgahm 2 (that's 2nd remix actually) :)

@Knight Rider: Hm, I must have overlooked something. But what I'm bothered about even more is the in-game room rendering time which suffers from the cartridge loading slowness too. ;)

Painfully slow loading times and decompression. I wonder why you load nearly the whole C64 memory full from the CRT and then unpack.

Bank 02 / 05000 File 2 / Fills memory to C000 : Needed 0801-37ee
Bank 06 / 0c800 File 1 / Fills memory to F000 : Needed 0801-3d66
Bank 08 / 10000 File 3 / Fills memory to F000 : Needed 0801-70ca

Another Moonspire preview and it contains the 3rd remix of Agemixer/Amalgahm.sid, maybe it's time to make a new tune for this game ;)
