multistyle medley, mimicking / murdering (maybe) eight game soundtracks from 1983; plus one from 1985, written by accident :)
the compo entry joins them into one monstrous shit, while the bonus music box version contains them all as nicely looped subtunes.
the titles being spoofed - in case it's difficult to figure out - are: one on one, jammin', punchy, hideous bill & the gi-gants, jumpman junior, purple turtles, rescue squad, burning rubber and wizardry.
long live the scene.
ps. i was tempted to do 'forbidden forceps' (a nod to a recently fucked up abortion law in poland) as well, but one of my other compo entries already tackles forbidden forest style, SO NO GO :| |
