This game is written in a way I haven't seen before. It has been said that it was written in C.

First, the game copies a section of zero page to a safe area and after the main loop, that area is restored and the game does an RTS. Naturally, the exit from the main game never happens why this is totally redundant.

The game set up the Logical file parameters as part of an init. That very same area is later used to store the high score. So populating the high score in the area is not possible. There is osceans of memory to use, so this optimisation is just strange. Totally uncalled for.

Also, testing a game such as this might seem like a minor thing. How hard can it be? Well, the high score saver has a number of permutations depending on trainer being selected, high score file available or not and then you need to play to break the high score to validate that save happens as it should.
