SNG data and such should be full compatible to GoatTracker. This is just an approach to deliver a more "modern" frontend, with SDL2 free window scaling, 16:9 screen format, only one executable for STEREO and MONO mode and with updated ReSID etc...
I dropped quite a lot "legacy" code because I'm not able to test most of the features anyway, like Catweasel support or anything else than ReSID in general... or compiling for AMIGA or other platforms despite linux – and win32 I guess (but I depend on feedback for the latter as I don't have any windows system to test this on).

This is a win32 build of the current gt2fork dev branch for public testing.
If you have a potato PC change be sure to set
;reSID/-FP settings ...

I wanted to release this last year, but all my MYD! mates had slow machines and I thought the bad performance on window was because of my SDL 1 -> SDL 2 conversion. But it turned out the cause was that I set ReSID to resample as default.
If you use a normal OS, don't bother with this release: just checkout the dev branch in the git repository for testing.

New key bindings:
ALT+T: change theme (black/blue)
ALT+M: switch STEREO/MONO mode
Probably there are more... I forgot. I'll try to work more on this fucker this year and try to do more documentation as well. |
