Ok I must confess that I missed this one. I like it. Athough music is too happy for my taste. Some upbeat (or how they call it) stuff from PRI would fit more ;-)) (and maybe not)

Had a good laugh from this. Some very decent coding too from what I can tell. Yay!

What a feeling seeing MacX, Booger, Maktone and Puterman in a demo! I really liked the "passing the spliff" part which made me feel like at LCP at once. The part with Maktones head suddenly appearing in the vector maze had me jump in the data chair. Maktone has never been this scary! (; Big up.

graham, puterman had problems on his c128d and i guess i will have on mine too, but i had no possibility to transfer to the real thing to test while developing the demo.(fuckings to blackdroid for not sending the rr+rrnet i paid for)

I really love this demo. Several smooth effects, funny and clever texts. Maktone dungeon horror! The last paragraph before the end upscroller had an impact on me. That's the spirit! ;)

I agree that the loader part is top notch elite coding :) But the loader itself is teh sucks on my C128DCR: crashes all the time. Had to watch the demo on emulator.

i think it's brilliant and boasts humour to all wankers, and oxyron's comalight x loading screen copy is well found if my memory serves me well, that particular loading screen was the only thing done by graham in comalight x.. wasn't it?

This is how a fast production should always be: Good music, nice graphics, sweet sarcasm, serious code and unserious attitude. You can really sense the joy while creating this piece. Quick, dirty and delicious!

@HCL:
Sure, it's the same but a bit revisited. I'm in no hurry are you?

@H: It's probably the same DYSP he started to deliver in 1992. Just let him pretend ;).

Not their finest hour. JackAsser's part is impressive, but could do with a better color scheme. Some nice graphics. I had hoped more from Zabutom's first C64 production than just a cover, but it is well made. Hope to hear more of his original compositions in the future, he sure is one of the most talented composers around.

The rest of the demo was quite bland. I was expecting more from this crew, though it was made in a short time, so I guess it's understandable.

Nice to combine coold effects with a good sense of humor. I really liked the kaleidoscope. Maktone almost scared the shit out of me in the 3D-labyrinth. ;)

When the dysp is delivered you all might be impressed , until then I reserve the right to settle with some additional coding when Hollowman asks me to.

I really liked Jackassers parts and I liked Hollowmans tunnel. The chesswaver looks nice. The raycaster could have been optimized harder but who cares when you get to see Maktone.

i thought i stole the vector kaleido from some amiga demo which i forgot the name and group of. oh, and i think tunnel, raycaster, twister, chesswaver and upscroll have also been done before. trash coded the 4x4 displayer, cut down a depacker with a few cycles and failed to deliver a dysp. greetings to skate for taking the demo the right way, and fuckings to ben for looking for depth and love in all the wrong places. and also, the loaderscreen rocks =)

Don't get exhausted Oswald, we all know you HATE this kind of shit. Btw. the vector kaleido was stolen from a PC-intro by Funktion or whatthehell they call themselves. 0 Points, except for Trash who, whatever he did, did something, but appearently not enough to score a credit to Booze Design ;).

The loader screen kills the action but rest is ok. I specially liked the chesswaver efect which is inspired from "living" as well I think :) (I read the upscroller at the end hehe). It was fun to watch this demo. I want more from Fairlight.

WA! I LOVE IT! Some truly INNOVATIVE coding here, and I like the "we dont take ourselfes too serious" attitude. Look closely at the upscroller, you never saw the c64 printing chars in this quality!

It's the very first Zabutom's c64 entry. Hence, it r0xx, simply.

nice one. thanks for the multicolor rotator and the high frame-rate of the raycaster. believe it or not we nearly had a kaleidoscope filled vector in "living"... do you think we have much too similar inspirations :).

and hey that last picture is converted... heh he :)
