| "Methinks it is like a weasel" is a line from Shakespeare's Hamlet. This line was used to illustrate an argument how mutation and selection make it possible to generate even complex information by evolution. We have implemented the Weasel Program for the Commodore C64 and some other systems. We have used uncompiled BASIC to show that even with such low performance setting it is possible to complete the evolution experiment This release explains the background, the general idea, and our implementation results. |
