Source code of the game is here. It compiles with KickC 0.82. Assets for world #1 (Monsterland) are included, as well as sound f/x and music files.
Use it for educational purposes and please read README.md for more information.

Once again huge Thank You! to Rex/Camelot for doing KickC.

What a beautiful looking game! Graphics and sound is all top notch. I also really like the bg speed-move effect in the storyline intro (like you see in those Animes).
Also +1 for getting all this in one file! :)

Brush, the keyword here is "new" <3 That would take away focus from what is really important - the X-winning Bonzai demo ;)

Sources or it didn't happen Tomek :) But jokes aside: great job! Both of you. But aspecially you, Carrion as Jammer was playing on his home turf and you ventured into the alien territory. I actually regret that you did not make a nice Bonzai "crack" with a new intro. That was a good idea!

Guys! Thank you all for this nice feedback. Much appreciated!
and without Jammer's excellent music this game wouldn't be what it is.
And yes we kind of joked with Trap on last call about releasing a crack of this game.

@The Sarge
Thanks man! Means a lot.

A monumental effort! I am so proud of you, Carrion! Is it ok that I tell the public (Onslaught?) that Bonzai could have had a -1 day release on this? We DID talk about it, with Crush's old BZ crack intro and all but eventually agreed to "release" to the scene. Carrion's just that nice - please support him!!!!

This game looks beautiful in hires! In the past (far back in the past) games with hires gfx often looked like cheap spectrum conversions (because they often were) because only few used the full potential of the C64. You did! I can’t remember any game with hires gfx that looks that good! Great work, hope to see more!
