I somehow missed this one. Only noticed it because Jucke commented. Really nice cover!

the beginning is promising, but then the rhythm section - a mega-vital part of YMO arrangements and sound - virtually disappears :(
still, kudos for the courage, accuracy and most of all the choice.

@Wile Coyote - "Firecracker" is the high score tune in Yie-Ar Kung Fu 2 (Martin Galway)
"La Femme Chinoise" is in "We M.U.S.I.C 1" SID - track 8. (Ben Daglish and Anthony Crowther)

@manganoid i had spotted the 2nd Sid address in the screen shot. New or Old Sid, i am not quite sure?
Martin Galway covered Rydeen - Loading tune to Daley Thompson's Decathlon
While i like both tunes, Rydeen edges it over Technopolis :)

Yes, sorry, thought the screenshot would give a hint to the 2nd SIDaddress.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly, Technopolis is one of their best but i was surprised when i checked the HVSC and found not a single cover :)

Good one.
I wish all 2Sid releases featured the 2nd Sid address and Sid type in the file name.

Wow! Seriously impressive! Especially the vocal "Tokyo" at the start. It even sounds like it's in a Japanese video game. I love both of these tracks.

Funny that "Technopolis" never got a cover after so many years, as it's one of their best. "Rydeen", "Firecracker", and "La Femme Chinoise" all had SID covers back in the day.

My first 2SID track. Done in GT2 Stereo.
The tracks are covers of the following songs by Yellow Magic Orchestra:
'Technopolis'
'Rydeen'.
