Use cc1541 V3.4 or later to encode files in Transwarp format.
This version reduces file-open overhead, so loads a little quicker effectively (that's the bottom of the two stats lines when loading from BASIC prompt).
Also 1571 support is fixed, it broke as a regression in the previous version.
The $DD00 jump table is now located in the zeropage, which may or may not improve compatibility with cheap crap-design user-port devices. :)
This changed the encoding slightly, which is why older cc1541 versions than 3.4 won't work - cc1541 3.4 and later can still encode for Transwarp versions prior to v0.86, though.
The challenge file keys are unchanged, challenge is still on. |
