Bang on it @Wile
1 screen counts as 98 sprites out of a gfx bank of 255 something?
2,5 screens, up/down or side to side ;D
We did do similar things, but with different tech and not sprites in "Qi" a few years ago (me and Firehawk/HXS).

I guess the next step might be to scroll one of these types of images up and down.
Maybe it has been achieved already, but i do not think so?

Very stylish, clever use of RGB!

...and only sprites? full border work in this style should be feasible.

This image is made using only sprites and rasterbars. I know I can make better, so I decided to release it just as of today. Keep looking at the upcoming Deadline party this weekend though, for more graphics, made by yours sincerely!
