A (way too) personal production note here:

I had no inspiration. Usually I have enough and doesn't happen often. But for this competition I had a so called 'pixel-block'. I was a little frustrated - in a friendly way ;D Well you know how it is.

It's was Saturday-morning. Way too early and way too rainy. My son Max plays hockey and I gathered with all the other parents for an exciting match. I told one of the mothers (while we were sheering and supporting of course) of my little pixel-block. After a little while she suggested to combine two pictures that were unfinished. I do have tons of unfinished stuff laying around, bit that is for a good reason. They are usually not good enough. But combining them is not one of my routines. I really liked the idea.

It was two hours before the deadline.. and I browsed through my "personal-rejected" stuff and found two pieces I did last summer. I merged them and it looked perfect. I quickly did some finishing stuff during my family lunch. In the end I actually really like the result.

Sometimes a good idea comes from undefined places and can make a change. Therfore I "Always Look at the Bright Side of Life" and try to be as open and positive as possible. It definitely helped me a lot. My 'pixel-block' ended. Thanks to a mother of one of Max's teammates.

Max won his match and was super happy. Maybe I will win too in this Deadline competition. But somehow I already won by overwinning my little 'pixel-block'.

Have a good Sunday!
