Wow, just re-watched this 1st time after party and this has some really cool effects.

That hires picture splitter part really reminded me of living chips demo by cosmos designs. It's not easy to do that kind of "sharp" visuals on the c64!

At the party I thought the pacing was boring, but now watching at home, i'm actually enjoying the cool screens more and happy it's not total cannoning.

Great futuristic gfx, don't mind if it's powered by SD, Dalle or whatnot. Awesome "voxel'ish" multiscreener and cylinder scrolls.

What’s not to love about this demo? Everything works perfectly together. Pal’s graphics really made me smile throughout the demo – enjoyed every plotted pixel. Thanks for the show guys!

The raytracing part alone is fantastic. I hate you guys, since I can now scrap my half-done attempt at the similar ;)
Excellent demo.

I have been watching this demo some more..
The perspective scroller above which floats a reflective sphere looks great! Real-time ray tracing on C64 :D
I got wondering about the part prior to this part. Looks like many sprites over scrolling bitmap.
What i like most about disk side 2 is the audio. Excellent tune! ^_^

Great work here! And yes, Trap, some -real- code porn :-) .. shorter than All Hallows Eve - but I actually count more code porn here so, for me, even Stevens :-)

Really like where FIG is currently going. Code was always top notch and now it's surrounded with rhythm and design. Good work, will be interesting to see where this goes.

I love the pixel work on this one. For me somehow it feels very emotional and points to an important time in our history when we are about to merge with AI. That rotating text was really something too. Great work and great competitor in the demo compo!

Although certainly not as polished as the Pumpkins demo, this is the most exciting one for me. I really loved the perspective effects. Well done all!

beautiful pixels and particular stages of presentation are top-notch (the mirrorball scroll!!!)...
...however, slow pace and - above all - clumsy, generic soundtrack kill it for me. feel free to ignore my destructive criticism, you're surely souls generous enough :|

Nice vectors, loved that multi screen ZOO logo with shadows, splitter, mirror ball over the scroll. Always great to look at new pixels from PAL <3
Great work, FIG!

This really was my winner, so I was really surprised. This demo is really amazing. Graphics, music and a lot of code porn - so much that I think even Raistlin would be happy. Congrats guys. I REALLY love what you did here.

Excellent work, y'all. Love that parallax effect with the chunky yellow pixels on black blocks.

DeeKay - it's an improved version of the effect I premiered in Did You Miss Us?. Check the forum discussion on that one for some behind the scenes info on mine, though Serato did a few things a bit differently in this one which gives him some more flexibility of movement patterns.

Some really nice effects and interesting transitions, a lot of content
But personally I don't like the idea of AI everywhere, all this midjourney stuff, gfx straight from ps on our beloved 80' machine. Soon AI will write those demos itself and not much later watch them ...also itself.
Not the reason i sill find inspiration and peace in retro demoscene ;P
