"The Black Watch" - as far as I know, never released anything, and "hack term" was the only tool I'm aware that was created by them.
Hack Term was NEVER to be released to the public, and was considered to be far too dangerous.
However, the BBS days are long gone, and it is unlikely this tool can do any harm now.
It might also serve for some to learn from, especially modem routines in Basic on the C64 which were never much fun

Some members of "The Black Watch" went on to form V.I.S.A. (Virtual International Software Artists) - how's that for an original name? (sarcasm)
And a mixture of those ended up with Trans/Net.
