Aha so these entries were created by Matt and not RR himself then? Anyway I think it’s good to have them here for inspirational reasons. I don’t care what tools the graphician used as long as the artwork is not 100% wired (looking at WEC here 馃槄). Same applies to workstages, these might be required for compos but come on – not for CSDb releases.

This piece has some 50-90% AI help, and was part of some experiments released over at itch. RR never wanted to hide that fact.

Also, please remember, I did not upload these images, I was keeping them separate for a reason. So If I could delete it I would as I have no real intention of spreading A.I generated art around the scene.

at first glance i was quite impressed by most of your pictures that have been uploaded here lately. especially this one. when it comes to AI, unfortunately, I always get a little angry. I don't want to fundamentally discuss the use of AI in the creative sector. but apparently it is becoming more and more urgent at gfx, also outside of competitions, to expect the addition of workstages. i am sure you are a good pixel artist. and i think it's ok if you make your work easier with your own tools. i respect your craft. but i don't like it when i'm not allowed to admire the result of your progress, but the progress that an AI has made. BTW: thanks for being open about using AI. That's why I'm open and explain my low vote. :) ... no drama! ;)

With this one there was some help from A.I, a new one which is more ethical called Leonardo.ai where you can train the dataset models from your own work, I was trying to get something that felt like the droids from impossible mission. The resulting image gets imported into Backdrop designer where I control the shading, dithering and a few other features. Then finally it gets imported into mcDraw.xyz for final pixel editing and ready for .KLA and .PRG . I know the use of A.I is controversial but there is so much control here and I am already a decent artist so I don't abuse these tools or try to make money from them. I've managed to produce C64 images much faster with these new tools.

incredible quality, absolutely top! <3
was the 'source' generated by/with AI? I'm just courious. And that depth, as Digger mentioned, is crazy good!

Yeah, so someone thought it'd be cool to make an RRFreelance handle and upload these images, originally posted on my itch page... I'm not mad, I just didn't know about it. Surprise!
