Just tested until trainer menu. So from your analysis this release is broken by design. ;-)

Weird, it shouldn't work anyway, the transfer routine is double flawed
53D1 A9 31 LDA #$31 ; <- wtf, this should be $30 or $38 to see all RAM
53D3 85 01 STA $01 ; this way it's seeing the chargen at $d000
53D5 A9 08 LDA #$08
53D7 A2 01 LDX #$01
53D9 85 21 STA $21
53DB 86 20 STX $20
53DD A9 55 LDA #$55
53DF A2 00 LDX #$00
53E1 85 FF STA $FF
53E3 86 FE STX $FE
53E5 A0 00 LDY #$00
53E7 B1 FE LDA ($FE),Y
53E9 91 20 STA ($20),Y
53EB C8 INY
53EC D0 F9 BNE $53E7
53EE E6 21 INC $21
53F0 E6 FF INC $FF
53F2 A5 FF LDA $FF
53F4 C9 D0 CMP #$D0 ;<- this stops relocating at $d000, but the actual
; end of data is $d31b
53F6 D0 ED BNE $53E5
53F8 A9 37 LDA #$37
53FA 85 01 STA $01
53FC 4C 15 08 JMP $0815

The progam to relocate is from $5500 to $d31b, but it only transfers $5500-cfff.
To actually fix it, it should be:
53D1 A9 30 LDA #$30

53F4 C9 D4 CMP #$D4

Crashes to READY. after depacking main part without cartridge. Works with e.g. AR6 attached.

Says it is NTSC version but U-Turn intro stutters like hell on NTSC.
