xlink_PlayFolderOfPRGs.sh
===========================
Description
--------------
The executable bash-script "xlink_PlayFolderOfPRGs.sh" was developed to view very big
intro- or onefiledemo- collections (i.e. https://intros.c64.org/inc_download.php?packType=full_11234) in vice or (with a xlink-equipped C64) on the real machine.
Howto
--------------
1. on the first start you have to create a playlist, i.e.
./xlink_PlayFolderOfPRGs.sh -d ~/c64/intros_c64_org_11234_full/ -p 30 -n 1
(A new playlist -sorted by name- will be created (-n 1) from all PRGs in the ~/c64/intros_c64_org_11234_full/ folder (-d ~/c64/intros_c64_org_11234_full/) and each file will run with the playtime 30 seconds (-p 30). )
2. If you break the script and want 2 start tomorrow again, just resume at the last playlist-entry by executing i.e. ...
./xlink_PlayFolderOfPRGs.sh -p 60
(NO new playlist is created (no -n 1|2|3) but the existing playlist is taken. Each file will run with a playtime of 60 seconds (-p 60). PRGs that have already been played are omitted.)
Among other things, the number of files found, the expected total playing time and the files already played are displayed.
In the playmode of the script you can push the ENTER key for pause the automatic forwarding to the next file (if you want to watch an intro ad hoc times longer).
If you press ENTER again, the pause is lifted and the processing of the list continues.
xlink_PlayFolderOfPRGs.sh --help will show all the options.
I hope this is useful 4U,
Happy testing :-) |
