During the last ~6 months, I haven't done anything C-64 related thing (private things). It was time to get back. ;)
Came to my mind an idea, what if I create a scroll with overlapping characters. Tried to find demos and intros with a similar effect but haven't found any. So, challenge was accepted. :) The sprite background with 2x speed of the main scroll was an old plan, wanted to create a scroll like this for ~3 years or so and finally I felt that, it's time to do it! ;)
Took an Excess logo which hasn't been used so far, created a 1x1 charset for the crack name's line and also created a dedicated 3x3 font which more or less can be used for do the overlapping chars effect.
Maybe the music is not the best choice. Maybe the sync is also not perfectly aligned to the music but the scroll itself works fine. And that's the main thing here - kind of proof of concept. ;)
Oh, and 100% coded in S-MON $C000 (ouch!), because I took it as a challenge! :)
