Jazzcat: do you have Windows 10 32bits instead of 64bits? Because the SPOTV1_1.exe is 32bits (and a GUI program), this one is 64bits commandline - and it's 10 times larger =) | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 5 January 2024
Raistlin: 1.1 works fine for me. | User Comment Submitted by Raistlin on 5 January 2024
Absolutely love this tool, so easy to just build into our development batch/makefile tooling and it just helps so much with getting everything compressed - the earlier version of this was essential for Memento Mori's end part :-)
Re: Windows 10 .. Jazzcat, note that this is a console/commandline tool, you can't just double-click launch it from Windows ;-) | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 5 January 2024
My win10 likes this version. | User Comment Submitted by Sparta on 5 January 2024
Fungus, SPOT outputs a separate set of files with all possible background colors by default, if not otherwise specified by the -b switch. The most used color cannot be necessarily swapped with the background color. For a color to work as background color, one cannot have any blocks with four colors that doesn't include the tested one. | User Comment Submitted by apprentix on 5 January 2024
Fantastic! Thank you for Linux support! | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 5 January 2024 User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 5 January 2024
Windows 10 doesn't like this version. | User Comment Submitted by Fungus on 5 January 2024
Sweet, it's with a few dozen bytes of hand optimizing. Can it also analyze the most used color vs the background (off bits) and swap them when it's more efficient? |
