Summary
Submitted by Mr. Mouse on 15 January 2024
As from the PICTURES.DOC file:

picture.docs

FILE: ggnew york FROM: WayneL
SUBJECT: New York Skyline *

It's one of the first things people
draw when they get their first paint
programs, but nobody ever goes back to
it after the first attempt-- until now.

Welcome one and all to that show of
shows: Name That City!

Let's meet our contestants:

Pixelsmith lives there,
Fleximan doesn't, and
WayneL used to.

Now let's all enjoy,

FILE: ggtime crystal FROM: DocJM
SUBJECT: Time Crystal Final Scene
AUTHOR: Jim Sachs

This is the final scene from Jim Sachs'
unfinished game : Time Crystal. After I
extracted it, I had to take it into
KoalaPad to adjust 3 of the colors.
It is now THE EXACT ORIGINAL screen!
:
To me, it is one of the most beautiful
C-64 graphics I've ever seen !
:
A MUST for all graphics collectors.:)

ENJOY!

DocJM

FILE: ggeconomics bear FROM: WesleyN
SUBJECT: Bear Teaches Economics *

Just what you've always wanted out
of a cartoon: an explanation of a
fundamental economic principle.
Economics Bear defines the Keynesian
Economic Policy, named after economist
John Maynard Keynes.

FILE: ggj rabbit FROM: RobertC118
SUBJECT: Jessica Rabbit *

This is the first picture I really
spent any time on. This is a picture
of Jessica Rabbit, Roger Rabbit's wife
from the movie "Who Framed Roger
Rabbit?"

This picture answers the question of
what Jessica says to Roger when he gets
home.

FILE: ggbruce bowde FROM: SLEESTACK
SUBJECT: Bruce Bowden Picture *

This is a well drawn pic of Bruce
Bowden, the author of GAS64 - one of
the best graphics utility prgs of 1987.

FILE: jjapollonia FROM: Dsqr
SUBJECT: Apollonia Face *

A compacted doodle of Apollonia of
Prince's "Purple Rain" fame

FILE: ggoptimus FROM: Laserbeak
SUBJECT: Optimus Prime *

This is a colorful Koala pic of Autobot
leader Optimus Prime. The kids will
love it.

FILE: gggame FROM: Ray Laboot

SUBJECT: I Luv Video Games *

This Koala file compacted using
DKCOMPRESS (up'd by SYSOP PH) is for
all you arcade freaks out there!

It's a drawing of 3 old arcade games
which to me revolutionized arcading in
some way...

First: the PAC-MAN game cabinet...This
game really "started it all"...
Second:WACKO! Though not a hit, this
game was the first to use a new
graphics technique by
BALLY/MIDWAY...(it was used for Tapper
afterwards...)
Third:Punch Out! This one introduced (I
believe??) The first game with more
than one cathode-ray screen in one
cabinet....

Though I drew this in '85 I still find
it a very nice pic!

Ray Laboot.
;)

FILE: ggmoment 4 FROM: Ray Laboot
SUBJECT: Moment For Reflection *

This is the second pic I sent to
Commodore for the '88 Graphics
Contest...(the other is MY RADIO).
It's a fairly simple and "over-done"
pic.....a glass ball on a plane...
(plane as in "Flat surface" not the
flying things you see in the sky! :D

I find that it is a little "top-heavy"
but I don't feel like even touching my
old pics anymore....so enjoy!

Ray Laboot :)

SUBJECT: My Radio *

This is a Koala PIC compressed using
DKCOMPRESS uploaded by SYSOP PH...
You need DK to view/uncompress this
file!
This, and the other pics I am
uploading are here thanx to EYEBALL,
and his comment "What good is that?!"
when I told him that I hadn't uploaded
any of my pics to Q!...Ok Eyeball, here
are a few!

This one is MY RADIO, literally! I
sent this in to the '88 Commodore
Graphics Contest, but I think it was
disqualified for getting there after
the deadline! (argh!) :D
Look for the other pic I submitted,
called "MOMENT FOR REFLECTION"...

Ray Laboot :)

ddpegasus girl

FILE: ggcov brg (Maine Covered Bridge)
FROM: MichaelM72

Sorry WayneL no lighthouses but will a
covered bridge do. This is the Hemlock
Covered Bridge near Fryeburg, Maine.

ggnomanhasgoneb4 FROM: WayneL

"Where No Man Has Gone Before"
A little Star Trek humor. Actually,
two jokes if you pay attention.
Klingons be wary.
