To respond to Ryk's comment on the file size: yes yes, I am being greedy. When it comes to standalone C64 Music releases, I'm not going to worry too much about hogging resources to do whatever I want. :D As long as it works as it should on the target hardware, it's legal as far as I'm concerned.

Why such a big file though? There's something like 36k of samples in this tune's source MOD file - I recorded and processed six guitar samples (played by my own creaky fingers), that's one sample for each guitar string, to ensure that the tune's arpeggiating guitar part doesn't stretch the samples' pitches too much. I guarantee you that if I only used one or two guitar samples for this part, it would sound (even more) nasty.

In terms of style, the tune is an attempted approximation of fado (Portuguese traditional music), which is known for being very melancholic. So, not really party material, and it's not going to be to everyone's tastes, but I wanted to give it a go anyway, because challenge and fun. :)
