@LordCrass Yeah quite a few of the Synapse games use this VM protection, I didn't bother documenting it yet though, as it has a pretty easy hole in it and most of the time it has a second loader after that part.

They are also pretty nasty in that they also attempt to format the disk, so if you put the originals on a real disk, make sure to put the write protect tab on it.

I'm going through each Synapse game as I intend to do them all, so far I did 7 of them. 13 left but I'll do the Novagen version of Encounter as it's the original.

Such a simple yet catchy title tune.

I heard this game had some complex vm-in-a-vm obfuscation to protect the disk error check. Is that true?
