In case someone wonders how the lda/sta stuff was done:

1.) diffscgen

My CLI tool that produces speedcode from the diff of two files.

As the basic fade leaves the screen filled with 0xA0, just poking the chars was a bit shorter than including the whole petscii screen.

2.) Fiddler64

My online / JS tool that is still very much WIP and a bit buggy, but already does the job to plan and execute char / color cycles that can't be expressed with a formula.

Also helps with finding sprite / raster and char positions from a screen draft png.
