Summary
Submitted by daddlerTL on 20 August 2024
This is a sample music player that uses the REU of the 1541 Ultimate, Ultimate 64 or similar devices as a mass storage device to play the audio from. If you have a 1541 Ultimate-II(+)(L) cartridge or an Ultimate 64 you can use the file browser and autoplay feature if you enable the Ultimate Command Interface in the menu of the device.

New in this version:
- built in file browser to select the BREADAMP files to play directly in the player (requires a 1541 Ultimate-II(+)(L) cartridge or an Ultimate 64)
- autoplay feature: plays all files in a directory one after the other (requires a 1541 Ultimate-II(+)(L) cartridge or an Ultimate 64)
- during playback you can skip to the next or previous file (if the file browser is enabled)
- settings made in the file browser and the color settings of the player can be stored on the flash memory of the supported devices
(they are loaded and applied on the next start of the program)
- the file browser can be disabled prior to running the player by executing the BASIC command POKE 2063,1 or the assembly commands lda #1 and sta $080F
(useful if the player is launched from another application that already loaded a video into the REU, e.g. from the WiC64)
- REUmaker: ability to specify the file name of the output file and ability to create files for the 6581 and 8580 SID (and FPGASID) in on go (creates 2 or 3 files)
