Your right... "Rocket Ball" is the name of the game, which more or less based on the movie "Roller Ball" :)

The depicted scene definitely fits the Rollerball movie. I really love the movie, it is from 1975 and therefore a bit odd for today’s taste. Since it is a science fiction movie, it plays in the “future”, 2018 to be exact :-) The corresponding C64 game from 1985 was named Rocketball (https://www.c64-wiki.de/wiki/Rocket_Ball)

I don’t know why the game was named Rocketball instead of Rollerball, since the seminal movie is Rollerball. Also, they don’t have rockets. There is a 1983 game from Ocean named Rollerball, which is a Qix clone; probably this was a reason to distinguish them.

I love the adaptation of the game cover, which would suit a good loading screen. The game also features a title image of two players side by side, at least in the cracked version by Silicon Pirate (Rocket Ball).

Roller Ball (1985) had no real title picture, so I made one for the old game just for fun. I based it on the cover of the tape, but gave the face a comic touch.
