I wrote a batch of scripts to automate the dir entries as well...you start getting lost in sector editors after a while.. There's a few tricks for auto load/run. I love what you did, great job. Drop me a line if you want to work some stuff.. happy to help.

Dirart magic was more WBO's work than mine. I think he wouldn't mind using his method in your tool.

As for the being slow with releases, i guess we all know the pain. How many times somebody was faster with that next great thing we came up with, but didn't code it fast enough :)

@wil, all correct. Stack seemed the easiest and most sensible place where writing the code and yes, I put an indirect JMP to avoid issues with 00/01.
@Jetboy, I'm aware of your work and - frankly speaking - I was a bit afraid of arriving late with this one. I wrote the original script code back in february this year, and then I put it apart waiting for having something decent to show/run. I ended up being too lazy - as I always do - and in the end we decided to release it with a simple split scroller before you come up with further enhancements on your code. :)
That said, I think I can borrow/steal your "press only enter" approach, will do some tests these days. Pity it doesn't seem possible to trigger an automatic run: I checked and rechecked the kernal code but there doesn't seem to be flawed corner cases...
BTW, useless to say, cool job with despAIr!

Cool shit! Similar to what we come up with WBOCHAR/Triad and BRUSH for despAIr , but more advanced, though our method needs only pressing enter to start loading.

Great tool! The embedded binary must be written for address $100 as far as I have seen. Starting the binary with JMP ($BEE9) is ingenious btw., since the straightforward JMP $100 could not have been encoded in a BASIC line, right?
