* * * THE WASTELAND EDITOR * * * RELEASED BY EAGLE SOFT INCORPORATED ON JUNE 28TH, 1988. SPECIAL THANKS GO TO STINGRAY FOR HIS HELP IN LOGGING ITEMS AND SUCH... THOSE THAT DESERVE THE GREETS ARE: WHY? USSPE, NAA, AND THE PRODUCERS OF INFLUX. FOR THE MOST PART THIS EDITOR IS SELF EXPLANITORY. MAKE SURE YOU MANUALLY SAVE THE GAME BEFORE USING THIS EDITOR!! IF YOU DON'T THEN YOU MAY NOT BE ACCESSING YOUR CHARACTER'S MOST RECENT STATS. THE REORDER PARTY OPTION IS NOT THE SAME AS THE ONE FOUND IN THE GAME. THIS ONE ALTERS THE INTERNAL LIST OF CHARACTERS. THE DIFFERENCE IS THIS: THE EXTERNAL LIST (AS ALTERED FROM THE GAME) IS BASICALLY TO LET THE GAME KNOW WHO IS IN POSITION ONE SO THAT IT PULLS MONEY AND SKILLS FROM THERE DURING ENCOUNTERS ON THE MAP. THE INTERNAL LIST CONTROLS WHICH CHARACTER WILL ATTACK FIRST WHEN THE PARTY IS ENGAGED IN COMBAT. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? HOPE SO... THERE IS ONE LAST THING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS EDITOR. WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO EDIT A CHARACTER, ANY DISEASES SAID CHARACTER MAY HAVE HAD WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CURED. ALSO, OF THE CHARACTER WAS UNCONCIOUS, WOUNDED, OR EVEN DEAD THEN IT WILL BE HEALED. (NOTE: "WOUNDED" REFERS TO SERIOUS, CRITICAL, ETC. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THOSE CHARACTERS WHOSE CONSTITUTION IS NOT AT MAXCON. IN SUCH A CASE YOU MUST MANUALLY RAISE THEIR CONSTITUTION YOURSELF.) SORRY FOLKS, BUT THERE AREN'T ANY RUSH LYRICS TODAY. TRY THE NEXT RELEASE. RUSH #1 ESI #1
