Hmm It is the other way around here: The so-so picture seem inspired from the excellent background of modernist art.

Got me thinking of a picture done by Tch in Piction II.Where he used a similar style in the background as Tao had done in this piece.

Redstar: well, I wasn't aiming at making it look bad, so a mistake might be the wrong term, but I cannot claim to be a master of composition, so I'd say it's probably more luck than anything; it was years since I worked with graphical design.
