Summary
Submitted by Laxity on 6 September 2006
SID Factory is based on some basic concepts of the JCH editor. It's been build from scratch and is very different from the JCH editor behind the surface.

The two main reasons why I decided to write the editor are:

1) I would like to have the ability to set both instruments and commands at the same tick

2) I wanted to make an editor that had a dynamic approach to exposed driver tables. Therefore all tables and linking of table pointers are setup in the driver header, and not hard coded in the editor.

The editor includes packing functionality. A tool for relocating packed tunes is included on the disk image.
