This was inspired by a picture postcard (only the pyramides and the general composition) my girlfriend sent me from egypt. The woman in the foreground was painted after a pic i found at google while searching for a replacement for the camels that were featured on the original postcard. the logo was drawn after i did some research on arabic letters and asked a colleague (greetings 2 najib!) some details which were hard for me to remember while painting. I guess it turned out ok for me as a non arabic. :) It is the first gfx i did for about 13 years. Done while checking out various PC gfx tools and finally done with WDStudio by Oxidy (thx!) ... the picture was lying around here for some time now and might have been used in a crypt demo. but as i am no longer in crypt, and i wanted to get this one off my harddisk i decided to release it now as it is.
