@JSL: not really. actually, it's a good find and I wonder what Leon has to say about this :)

Still, it's not a 1 to 1 copy of the original photo and it's a beauty!

Kill JSL, kill JSL!! yeah sorry I come up with this, can't help it
I am a graphician and do look at some art-sites, and saw this. I have
nothing against Leon himself, I am really a big fan of his work,
so all of you, pickup your axe, and kill me for posting this link. :D

'It's no secret I'm very fond of the picture called Lost by Deev! This was the main inspiration behind making this picture...'

Experimenting, finding one's own path of expression means an artist is not 'stuck' yet and still got steam. I heartily welcome this picture.

Now that WEC mentioned, indeed, it is Forbidden Sirenish spookiness. Luvly Scary Stuff [tm]

The border where the treebranches and the fireylike character of the leaves end and the dithered background takes on blends and provides for a foggy feeling and thus connects the foreground to the background in an interresting way. Just like a cold autumn or winter morning, there is no way of really telling where the ground stops and the sky begins as the landscape melts to an unknown extension. The Red scales bring strength to the image, and enforces the landscape setting, where the bench and the small trees in the background smoothly fades towards the background. Despite the coloring one could still feel a sensation of cold and moisty wind hitting ones face, perhaps due to the association the branches in the background gives rise to due their lack of leaves. In the upper background a slight light may be seen in the character of brighter gray shades, but the whirls of the treeleafes reshapes the background sky as if a storm was over us. Rain, Leaves. Empty parks and the last summer breeze. Nature taking a final breath before winter time hits us. But this winter is different. For a lot of us the autumn heat still is there. Environmental issues some say, nature burning up.
