At least Tao used an external source. This is a theme from the homo-erotic images by David Hockney for sure. A nice bathing pool and some handsome guy just diving in. Tao´s choice was to try to preserve the hetero-normative perspective: Depicting the water, an anonymous standpoint reflecting nature. (Very bad joke, I know ;P)

Interesting piece definitely. I can't say much more. It leaves an impact, I don't even know why, I like it.

@Mermaid: "Ooh, a challenge?"

To you I bet it's not much of a challenge to improve this (some might argue that just turning off the computer would improve this picture immensely...)

Hey I like this one too. Looks like water to me. Where the white patches is where the sun is reflected of the water.

"Another image that might be fit as background for some careful Mermaid love =)"

Ooh, a challenge? I quite like this pic actually.

@Domey: I've got more unreleased pictures that'll probably cause you to whine even more. I don't care much. I know I'm no Warhol, Klee, Kandinsky, or Mondrian.

@Scout: "They must have taken my marbles away". Oh, and this is not an official TRIAD-release. I created this as a concept more than anything. A lot of the stuff I paint is things that start off as demo-ideas...

@Steppe: you're a geologist? Cool!

@Yazoo: nope, no Photoshop involved.

@Mace: Hmmm, maybe...

Is this the new Triad Dealer Quality Standard 2007 AD?
=P

Tao really lost his marbles, I guess...

I'm a geologist and I can say it isn't marble. But hey, it looks interesting anyway! =)

Although intended to look like marble, it looks more like reflections of small waves in a swimmingpool.

Another image that might be fit as background for some careful Mermaid love =)
