It feels quiet and abandoned like the beginning of the first Alien film.
The views look very cinematic. The story is minimalistic though.
This runs like a mini movie. Highly original demo.

Thanks for the nice comments. I've updated Trivia - the hyperspeed effect was done the same way (flicker-free VHS, frame by frame copy).

My favourite c64 demo, so moody and full of character, you don't see many game sequences as good as this.
