Another fantastic piece I totally missed out on. As Puterman said, this is a really, really good demo. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 July 2007
seems tricky but i cannot forgive what you've done to bob's masterpiece :P | User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 24 July 2007 User Comment Submitted by Hein on 24 July 2007 User Comment Submitted by Skate on 24 July 2007 User Comment Submitted by Ed on 23 July 2007
@Hein: Seriuosly? The only sprites in this part looks something like: ||||||||
The rest is made with Project One, a graphic editor that is worth using for editing purposes as it is for now, as most others seem to fuck up and add colorclashes. GangEd is also quite good, but lacks the varietys of the image-manipulation during import. Of course Timanthes has all those fancy routines, but it really gives weird bugs when translating into C64 graphics.
Oh and it is made in bitmap. You know, normal 3 colors + background. So nope. No fast namedrops or thought up ideas or anything else. Try "tutan bonus /wd" on the disc for a slightly less manipulated version.

This is a really, really good demo. | User Comment Submitted by Hein on 22 July 2007
Ed, you made that up while writing that comment, didn't you? :) I think you just wanted to test your 'bitmap-to-sprite-converter' | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 22 July 2007
@wile coyote:
Bob´s image of the Tutankhamun already has a slight latino flavor over it (in comparison to for instance the reworked version seen in Crest´s Give it a try 3). While adding up the Autumn leaves, something mayan appears. The photorealism is replaced by cubism. | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 22 July 2007
Great music from drax, but as usual these WD stunts don't do much for me.
Maybe I'm to simple minded to appreciate.

I use drugs, and still didn't enjoy it :) I prefer the still pics. At least it's "different" anyway :) | User Comment Submitted by Hein on 21 July 2007
Pitty I stopped using drugs, no chance for me to enjoy this... Awell, maybe next effect is cool again. | User Comment Submitted by d0c on 21 July 2007
to be honest, cool effect but boring stand alone.... what about including this in a mega demo or something? | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 21 July 2007
nice, but only if it had sine wave though it like a tech tech.....hmmm... | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 21 July 2007
I knew just by looking at the screenshot this is wd :D | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 21 July 2007
..Nah, it is not thursday today. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 21 July 2007 User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 21 July 2007
Beautiful! Reminds me a bit of Autumn, and the music really sets the mood. | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 21 July 2007
Don't forget the PAL emulation. And put on some colors, like some artists around here (do with) and their dumps. | User Comment Submitted by Medicus on 21 July 2007
Oh gosh. I expected a lot more from WD. Music is fine though ;)
