Return of the Living Dead 5%/WoW

The looping animation of the Zombie, walking towards the screen, following the camera was captured from the film Zombie Flesh Eaters/Lucio Fulci [1979] using an Amiga video digitizer, and ported to C64 using Godot. The Hires logo was hand drawn using Vidcom 64/Omega [1986]. The whole idea of the logo screen switching with the zombie animation screen was heavily inspired by an arcade game, possibly Ridge Racer/Namco.

Return of the Living Dead was to be the name for a Warriors of the Wasteland demo. Other than the 5% preview, and a picture created by Wile Coyote, the demo failed to grab the imagination of the rest of the group. The demo was abandoned.
