The editor is based on Rockmonitor 3. The digi routine confirms this.
Rockmonitor 5 was released by the Dutch USA-Team in 1988.

The intro says Rockmonitor 8 while the music editor says Rockmonitor 5. Strange...

I get the impression that it's just Rockmonitor 5 (see screenshot of editor) with different sounds...
