A decomposing Jimi Hendrix...creepy...cool.

added a proper .d64 with an amica paint version and a viewer.. the timanthes .prg export was quite corupted.

The decay of the icon, caused by abuse? ;)
For a minute i thought that's what you ment, reminded me of a Banksy piece (the the portrait of che guevara having lost its power by overusage).
Very nice that you posted the original image you based it upon, yet that reveals your addition to the base was minor. The decay style suggests something conceptual, but that feels unmotivated.
Looks nice though!

I really like the expression in this, it doesn't really matter if it's traced from a photo or not. The "melting" makes it feel sort of unique. I would have done it in hires.

I'm a fan of Hendrix, this has a kinda essence of him, but you've made his face look like it's melted... or, alternatively, totally stoned - which would be about right for Jimi Hendrix! I like the hair.

Little pic done at work today using Timanthes..
the story about this..
This is the second try of this pic and it is actualy "fake" because a photo was used as a trace image for the original outlines..
The first try wasn't that accurate but i liked it better anyway.. bad thing is that you should save every 10 minutes if you work with timanthes or you might loose your work as it crashes often.. (i lost my first try ..)
anyways.. a "slightly" converted pic just to kill time.. hope you like it.

Looks nice! I would have made it in even less colors.
