The reason I started making these little tools for Commodore Disk User back in the day was that after submitting my first entry to them, I found out that they paid a whopping £200-250 per tool that was published..! This was HUGE for me back in the day as it allowed me to kit my room out with TV, a high quality VHS player/recorder, a hi-fi, some Mission speakers, etc.

Each of the tools for CDU took a night each to make, probably about 3-4 hours.
