its your job to make sure your entries are complete, not the moderators. really. (and the website link doesnt even point to a proper website dedicated to this hardware, as it should be)

Booker it really can load d64 files as is in IDE64 project. The main difference between IDE64 and C64+ is open architecture, speed, memory capacity... You can run games fixed for IDE64, you can use tools etc. System file FAT16 and Compact Flash cards are easy to use to transfer all what you need to have a fun:) It's designed to have a fun.

Kisiel, all I tried to say was it's a very valuable project, but when it's able to all load existing stuff, like demos from .d64 that's a star - however you'd do it! :)

@oswald I've seen cool animatrix "animation" with 8-bit sound. If you interested in I can give you an link to *.avi (grabbed from real C64 with HD coded by JAD...HD is slower than CF) or you can google this.

Hello again, I've just added support for LBA,LFN and d64 to my project. Improved speed to ca. 60kB/s.

@booker I think it is useless then you build an expansion with 2MB to handle with virtual images of 180kB of data.
I've allready made an input channel and I'm working on out put chanell. So now it's possible to use a programs with normal calls for kernal. For example unzip takes 10 minutes to depack and save d64 image to real 1541, it's use a kernal for data transmision so it take so much time. On input, from CF card, stream of data is about 5kB/s (jsr EE13).
It is orso Action Replay compatible so you can run on all directory by function keys, load save programs read error chanel and give commands mkdir, scrach... that is all for now.

Kisiel, can you implement full 1541 drive emulation for your project?

Yes, you have right. It needs a power supply as is in PC/AT.
BIOS/DOS takes now 8K of extra flash rom, its connected under "normal" kernal/basic as drive no. 10. Max transfer of data (one cluster) is about 70kb/s and it can be speed up by changing one bit in register dc41 to approx 30% faster. But you have to make some arrangements to get this cluster/data so finally load of 60kB takes few seconds. For example you have to divide 32bit value by 16bit value to get CHS.
Why CHS not LBA? In 1996 I had old ST157A HD with CHS only.

Does it still run from a standard power-supply? I guess not...

I guess the made all Mayhem Interlaced porn collections running fast from rom. But the board looks still cool! :)

You can find some info in "Dokumentacja" in english (more or less ;) ). In extra rom where is DOS/BIOS routines with BASIC/KERNEL. If I find some time to translate memory map, it will be more clear, I think.

Heh... nice, but an English translation would be nice, as well as some information on how to work with that extra RAM.
And what's in the extra ROM?
