I am teh stupid, sorry. Somehow I lived under the impression that shuffle shuts off the SLDB support and you have to advance tunes manually. Hence my question. :-/

@Steppe: Doesnt make sense, does it? :) You either shuffle or contPlay.

Actually, why isn't it possible to have shuffle play and continuous mode active at the same time? Maaaaaaadman! :)

I'd like to have a default player per sidmodel (like if sid=8580 then hoxs, if 6581 then Vice, if unknown then Vice).

Regarding the additional play buttons.. Hmm i dont see any difference between clicking the play or next button or clicking the entry in the list :)

Well.. I might want to remove a file or move it up/down in the playlist without stopping the file that is playing elsewhere in the list. :)

@Dan Gillgrass:
SIDTool supports both continuous and shuffle playing. See the homepage for a list of features.

It takes less mouse movement, it is more relaxed to just click without having to look and point.
Ease of use.

This may be stupid of me, but is it possible just to set the util to pick random sids and subtunes from the hvsc and play them as it were a jukebox? would be great to have them playing in the background and discover some nice new sids :)

I will see what i can do about that selection thingy. As far as i remember (dont have the code at hand atm) there were some issues about that.

Regarding the additional play buttons.. Hmm i dont see any difference between clicking the play or next button or clicking the entry in the list :)

Hope I don't come across as a whiner or anything, but I like your tool so much and it needs so little to make it a great SID jukebox :)

Maybe do it like this, if the auto play checkbox is ticked on the hvsc side, play the single file on click like it is now which is most excellent to quickly listen to a song.

If it's not ticked, don't do anything except select the track so it can be moved to the playlist. It doesn't have to stop the playlist if it's already playing a file.

Also, can the playlist have a start, stop and next/previous track button too so that you have to select a track first and then click play to start playing from that position in the playlist? Or just start at the top of the playlist if you dont select a track and just click play...

Must seem easier than it is to implement but it's just some thoughts :)

Keep it up!

Well, this is rather difficult. You know, how can i determine wether you click a SID in order to play it and when do you click a SID in order to add it to the list? I will think about that and maybe its in the next version :)

Awesome that you added the auto play check box! :D Nice to notice that the coments are read and that something is done with them.
But... when I have a song in the playlist which is playing and I select a song I want to add to the playlist, the song that is currently playing stops.
It would be great if you could build the playlist while listening to it if you know what I mean.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
