Scout: Sure there are tape freaks out there. Like enthusi who released Not Even Human on tape, and there were some ppl quite happy about that at X (not really me, but well...)

Hmm. Just tested your bugfix on a real machine too. Sometimes you have to hit serveal times before any change.

Also, wtf? From tape? lol?
Hey, if you release a game for C64 in 2008 you need to get a wide as possible audience ;)

My bugfix works fine. Tested it on a real C64 (with paddles). Nothing wrong with the functionkeys.
Also, wtf? From tape? lol?

Did you learn something from my bugfixes btw?

Loading from tape ? , sorry but you think anyone is going to do that in 2008 :)

It's easy to make your own paddles. Uploaded a picture that show how to.
Btw. CCS64 have paddle suport.
Comment about the "cracked" version:
Thanks for the enthusiasm! .. But the crack seem to have a bug when reading the function keys. Also the intro(nice pics:) takes more bytes than the game itself. Witch meens longer loading time if you want to transfer by tape.

Hey, I thought it wasn't proper fashion to upload new versions and replace old ones!

Weeeeeeeeeeee! another new version! \o/ \o/

Edit: only 1 call to the music player, right after the $d012 check at $80 which makes the skewing bug even worse. Weeee! :)

Yeah! Removed the flashing border, and turned up volume on the sfx. Thinks it's better that way. I've read your comments Scout.

Oh..a new version was uploaded by Mr. Kribust.
Looks that the flashing-border-when-killed was removed.
If he spent some time reading my comments he could've fixed that... (and more)
Even the rasterbug which causes the ball to skew is still there.
That makes the Hema+Troep release even more superior ;-)

nice first effort, I miss joystick support tho, or maybe it can be switched on...

Also you might try to use a raster irq to replay and control the music.
I was looking at the code and went "OMG!".

Nice game. Will try it with real paddles tonight.

I noticed a small bug though: when you miss a ball, the screen flashes. A colorbug is seen in the border.
This is because you cmp $d012 for #$80 (at $2fc1).
This also interferes with the ball. It looks a bit skewed when it crosses the rasterline at #$80.
A solution might be checking for vblank instead of checking for a particular rasterline.
